When my intro is listed in August you will notice that my highest degree is
B.Sc.. When I wanted to continue studying for an advanced degree, one of
the senior profs. in the department (University of Toronto) said to me:
"Why would you compete with all these young people? You are on the faculty
of the dept already, so what are you trying to accomplish?"
